]]>Searching for a new apartment isn’t just about location, it’s about finding a home that fits how you live every day. With so many apartment search tools, the right floorplan has become one of the most important steps in the apartment search process.
At Regents Club of Troy, residents can choose from a wide range of thoughtfully designed one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments with layouts that prioritize space, comfort, and flexibility. Understanding how to evaluate floorplans can help you find an apartment that truly fits your lifestyle.

Start With How You Live
The best floorplan starts with understanding your daily routine. Some residents want open space for entertaining, while others prioritize quiet areas for working from home or relaxing.
At Regents Club of Troy, one-bedroom apartments range from approximately 875 to 1,200 square feet, giving residents multiple layout options depending on how they use their space. Some include additional features like dens or extra half baths, which are ideal for renters who work remotely or want a separate lounge or guest area.
If you prefer a layout that separates living and sleeping areas clearly, a larger one-bedroom with a den can feel much more like a small house than a traditional apartment.

Think About Space—Not Just Bedrooms
Many renters start their search by filtering for a specific number of bedrooms. While that’s helpful, square footage and layout flow can be just as important.
Two-bedroom apartments at Regents Club of Troy range from about 1,160 to 1,780 square feet, offering generous living areas and options with two full bathrooms or additional half baths.
These layouts work well for:
- Roommates who want privacy
- Couples needing a home office or guest room
- Renters who want extra storage or flexible living space
Some two-bedroom homes also include features like fireplaces or den spaces, which add both comfort and functionality.

Consider Long-Term Flexibility
Many renters now choose apartments with flexibility in mind. Even if you live alone today, your needs might change over time—remote work, hobbies, guests, or a growing household can all impact how you use your home.
For those wanting maximum space, three-bedroom apartments at Regents Club of Troy can reach up to around 2,500 square feet, providing the kind of room typically associated with single-family homes while still enjoying the convenience of apartment living.
Larger layouts can be ideal for:
- Families
- Professionals who work from home
- Renters who frequently host friends and family
Floor Level and Layout Details Matter
Another detail many renters overlook is how the building level can influence their living experience. At Regents Club of Troy, several floorplans are available on first, second, and third floors, with some penthouse-style options on upper levels.
Each option offers a slightly different feel:
- First-floor apartments often provide easy access and convenience
- Upper-floor homes may offer quieter living and elevated views
- Penthouse layouts typically provide expanded space and unique design features
Touring Floorplans the Smart Way
Once you’ve narrowed down your choices, the best way to decide is by exploring the layouts visually. Reviewing floorplan diagrams, touring apartments in person, or taking a virtual tour can help you understand how the space actually feels.
Pay attention to details like:
- Room proportions
- Storage space
- Natural flow between living areas
- Potential office or hobby space
The right apartment floorplan is more than square footage, it’s about finding a layout that supports how you live, work, and relax every day.
